Average Indian became wealthier

  • Approximately 85% of the India's $5.5 trillion market cap is now domestically held, along side an accumulated wealth of
    • $5-6 trillion in real estate,
    • $2 trillion in gold,
    • $4-4.5 trillion in stocks.
  • Banking assets stand around $3 trillion.
  • So if you put this together the average Indian has become wealthier. - Manish Chokhani, Director, Enam Holdings.

Gold moved out of Bank of England - October 2024

  • The Reserve Bank of India has reported that a further 102 tonnes of its gold reserves have been moved back to India from the Bank of England.
  • This now means that ~60% of its gold reserves are stored domestically.
  • Many countries keeps its Gold at BOE for balance payment, Bharat also do it because we use to be net importer as compared exports, so we need to pay out and hence its becomes easy to just switch a Gold brick from one Vault to another within a Bank because every time shipping from Bharat we very expensive and takes time
  • Over last 10 years, Bharat has transformed itself to a Export Nation, hence the need to keep at BOE dropped. Also, because of our growing economics power, the trust and stability of Bharat has increased many folds and Balance of payment is not any issue.
  • Third and most important point, to ensure stability and trust on our currency, it needs to be backed by yellow metal.
  • The amount of metal we hold locally is directly proportional to trust in INR. This trust is important in bilateral trade, expansion of UPI based system in other countries. BRICS Pay is also based on strength of INR.
  • Why most countries use SWIFT or US dollar, because they have trust in USD, TRUST is the new currency and that is INR now. It also because of stability of Government
  • Now the most important part, When the TRUST is bestowed on INR, this is the time Indian Govt can issue Treasury bonds in INR to other countries just like what US do.
  • This will help Bharat to grow and replace blackmailing by USD.
  • This also saved Bharat from 1991 Balance of Payment crisis
  • India already got his entire Gold back from the Bank Of England.
  • The BoE fears that in future if they move the Gold to NY it will be expensive because of New tariffs.
  • Now, the BoE is moving its entire Gold to New York Current updates - Video
