Water Scarcity in Bengaluru

2024-04-02
The Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board (BWSSB) has decided to reduce the supply of water by 10% for users consuming between 40 lakh and 2 crore litres/day starting from April 10.
Bengaluru headed towards zero water days:
The apathy and incompetence of authorities who run the city and the unabated greed of people to multiply assets fuelling rampant construction across the city will inevitably spell the death knell of this beautiful city
Stating again,radical measures needed:
Regulate construction Curb vehicle buying ( 1500 new vehicles registered everyday)
Sample this :
78 % loss of water bodies already 85% loss of green cover ( IISc Study) 1000 plus % increase in concretisation
