Neither seek nor avoid, take what comes, Be unattached - Swami Vivekananda

This dictum has nothing to do with sustenance, aptitude or moral evaluations.

Because of our personal likes and dislikes we confuse our notion about things for the experience of the things themselves.

Feeling of pleasantness of desired work and feeling of unpleasantness of undesired work.

Evading reality can never make us happy.

For the fear of the unknown and the loss of our comfort zone, we may prefer to stick to what we are used to and justify that we can only do what we are capable of. This self deception can never lead to self fulfilment.

Karma sankalpa tyaga - open minded to accept whatever comes our way.

Witness attitude: merely witness the excitements of our minds and the anxieties of our egos, without getting influenced, dominated or enslaved by them.

Swami Vivekananda says, "You must be prepared to go into deep meditation now, the next moment you must be ready to go and cultivate these fields. You must be prepared to explain the difficult intricacies of the Shastra now and the next moment to go and sell the produce of the fields in the market. "

We would no longer do any work for personal excitement or social approval, but rather because it would be the best thing to do in the given circumstance.

Teach everyone his or her real nature, call upon the sleeping soul and see how it awakes.

Allow divine to guide our lives, achieve true self surrender to the Divine.

The individual will gets liberated from emotions and ideations and becomes a part of the cosmic will.

All egoistic conditioning breaks down completely and we fully participate in the cosmic sacrifice.

Complete detachment is achieved, as Swami Vivekananda wanted.
