Friendship of Pandit Ram Prasad Bismil (devout Hindu) and Ashfaqulla Khan (devout muslim), shows Hindu Muslim unity.

While awaiting execution, Bismil penned a heartfelt letter urging his countrymen to uphold Hindu Muslim unity explicitly framing it as the true homage to their sacrifice , even though the colonial government acknowledged Ashfaqulla as Ram Prasad's right hand.

Bismil disproved the notion, "Muslims aren't trust worthy. No one should dare say Hindus and Muslims cannot trust each other in the fight for India's liberty."
