During the Raising day celebrations of CISF at RTC Arakkonam, Home Minister Amit Shah announced to rename the RTC as Rajaaditya RTC after Chola Emperor Aditya Chola who fought and attained veergati at the same place.

He also announced that all CAPF exams will now be conducted in mother tongue, i.e., 8th Schedule languages.

The Tamil language, culture, and traditions are a precious ornament of Indian culture, and the whole country accepts this fact. In continuation, I am happy to announce that today we are renaming this CISF training centre in honour of the great Chola warrior, Rajaditya Chola.

It was on this very land that Rajaditya Chola scripted many tales of valour, sacrificed his life, and carried forward the great traditions of the Chola dynasty. I pay my humble tributes to the great warrior, Rajaditya Chola.
