Aim

• ensure safety at factories where industrial boilers were used.
• ensuring uniformity throughout Bharat

Components of the Bill

• standards of construction,
• maximum pressure specifications,
• registration and periodic inspection of all boilers,
• particular focus on matters concerning the safety of life and property

Concerns

Amendments moved by the Opposition to the Boilers Bill were defeated in a voice vote.
